This place is like "a hole in a wall" located in Union city. They compensate the return by abundance and flavorful of the dishes. I love the crispy pata (crispy fried pork hind leg) and the sinigang sa sugpo (sour soup with shrimp) Much better if you order for "to go" cause they can only accomodate 15 people. Parking is limited too, or you can also park at the street. Overall this is one place that you should try it for yourself.

Ordered the Pancit Bihon over the phone, only took 20 min. Busy evenings and weekends. Well lit, and clean restaurant with limited seating. Located close to a coffee shop and park.

This place is fairly small inside but the tables get cleared out pretty quickly. We only waited about 10 minutes to get a table which is not bad at all. The waitress was busy but friendly. Food ordered: Grilled chicken (gravy on the side) 7/10 NY steak (had a quite a bit of chewy fat) 7/10 Grilled tocino 8/10 Java rice 10/10 Lumpia 9/10 **Overall a sold 4.50 stars** See pics for reference...

This is one of the best Filipino restaurants here in the bay! If I need a quick Filipino fix, this is my only go-to spot here! The location is not really convenient as there is limited parking, but I live in Union City and this is very close to where I stay. The place is also very small with maybe room for for 4 tables, or 4 people each. The staff make it less like a wait tho since they try to take your order beforehand so that you arent just waiting the whole time. Food: we had the Tapsilog and the Longsilog and they were both very juicy and sweet -- very Filipino! I also loved the garlic rice! One thing I also love is the sauce dip! It's some sort of vinegar and I don't know what they put in it but it really really brings out the flavor of the meat! Will always come back! I do recommend since the place is small, to call in with your order and pay when you get there and eat at the convenience of your own home. Love it here sooo much!

This is my go-to restaurant when I am craving crispy pata and lechon kawali. Serving is generous for the price. I always get it to-go as the restaurant is small and they are always full and it's hard to find a seat during meal time.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Toppings of Authentic Filipino Restaurant, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a cozy, inviting atmosphere. The menu offers a fantastic selection of traditional Filipino dishes, and every single item I tried was absolutely delicious. The Adobo was perfectly seasoned, with tender meat that melted in my mouth. (Not pictured) The longanisa had the perfect balance of sour and savory, a true comfort food. And let's not forget the Lumpia--crispy, flavorful, and just the right amount of filling. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who were more than happy to provide recommendations and explain the dishes to those unfamiliar with Filipino cuisine. The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food provided. If you're looking for a genuine taste of the Philippines, Toppings of Authentic Filipino Restaurant is the place to go. I can't wait to return and try more of their mouthwatering dishes. Highly recommended!

Been meaning to eat at this place for years! I visited thinking I'd be off-peak lunch hours but was surprised & happy to see it was a full house in their dining room. There was 1 party in front of me and it looked like they were waiting for a good while. I originally wanted to dine in to get the full experience but hunger came over me. I decided on ordering my food to go. I settled with a 2 choice combo plate with the fried bangus (milk fish) and lechon kawali (fried pork belly). I was given an estimated wait time for my order. After a couple min and feeling like it was ready, I headed to the counter and asked for a status update of my food. I found it had been ready and resting on a pick-up shelf near by. There were pretty busy so I could understand why they didn't call out my name (which was asked for at checkout) when my order was ready. I sat at an outside table of an establishment near by and enjoyed what I saw when I first opened my to-go box. What greeted me were fried deliciousness of meats. The bangus and lechon kawali instantly pleased me with their golden brown color. I was also happy to be served condiments with my order. It was greatly needed to combat the greasiness of the fried food. I also had java rice with my meats which was pretty okay. I think I prefer garlic rice instead because of the bigger impact of flavor and fragrance. I easily finished all my food and left no traces behind in the to-go box. I will definitely come back to order other items on the menu!
